Projection factor, interior

Definition

  • The ratio of the horizontal depth of the interior shading projection divided by the sum of the height of the fenestration above the interior shading projection and, if the interior projection is below the bottom of the fenestration, the vertical distance from the bottom of the fenestration to the top of the farthest point of the interior shading projection, in consistent units.[1]
